Heard alot of good things about this place except that they charge huge prices for beer and alcohol, not a huge deal if the whole experience is worth it. It wasn't. The service was very slow, they forgot ingredients listed on the menu on TWO of our entrees and we ended up cancelling our dessert order because it was taking too long and went inside to pay so we could leave. The food didn't taste very good either. Too bad as I like the concept of the place, but I am not willing to spend cash and risk disappointment again.

Yes I did! Hmm, I like the ambiance there but did not enjoy the crepes as much. I'm really impressed with Hibiscus in Kensington though!

I must agree with Tammy - I was definitely NOT a fan of Art Square. They were a big mess. Have you tried Krespesz in KMarket?

I STRONGLY DISAGREE. I just went - HORRIBLE, horrible crepes like I've never tasted before. Probably the worst experience I've had in years.

I tried Angie's a while ago, and it was indeed great! I went there for breakfast. Aside from the good food, I really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. I want to try their dinner one of these days.

By the way, if you're planning on loudlunching in Toronto, and if you like Thai food, I've been to the Ivory Thailand restaurant a few times (about a 5 minute walk from King Station), and I find it pretty good. They have a buffet lunch for a reasonable price.

While we did not have an opportunity to eat at Angie's Kitchen during our tenure in the district, we do appreciate your excellent review of it.

Angie's is where I went for breakfast on my wedding day 12 years ago. And Theresa is always surprised at how large my girls are getting. I don't think I've ever used the term "comfort food" before but I'm almost tempted to start when talking about Angie's.

Awesome recommendation, thanks Maple. As for Toronto: Kilgours on Bloor in the Annex has the best bang-for-buck breakfast in the city. Especially the eggs benny!
